Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g mascarpone
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 300 ml cream
  • 100 g Parmesan
  • 100g Gorgonzola
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Whisk the mascarpone and egg yolk until creamy. Season with salt and pepper. Heat the cream in a saucepan and reduce slightly. Stir in the Parmesan and crumbled Gorgonzola. Reduce heat to low, stirring continuously, and reduce until creamy. Stir in the mascarpone and egg mixture, season to taste, and keep warm. Do not boil again. This sauce goes very well with macaroni.
