Vanilla cream with mandarins

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder
  • 500 ml milk, 1.5% fat
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 1 can mandarin(s), drained weight: 175 g

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Prepare the pudding mix with milk and sugar according to the package instructions and pour into a bowl. Drain the mandarins in a sieve. Once the vanilla pudding has cooled, whisk until creamy, removing any skin that may have formed on the pudding. Whip the cream until stiff and fold it into the cream along with the mandarins. Of course, the pudding can also be made with sweetener instead of sugar. This will result in a dessert with 255 kcal per person.
