Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g tomatoes, chopped, from the can
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • ½ tsp basil
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Finely dice the onion and garlic. Heat a little olive oil in a small pan and sauté the onions until translucent. Add the garlic and sauté for one minute. Then add the tomatoes and their liquid and the remaining ingredients. Simmer the sauce over medium heat for about 20 minutes until the liquid has completely evaporated. Finally, remove the bay leaf.
