Vegetarian: Spaghetti Puttanesca

The perfect vegetarian: spaghetti puttanesca recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Spaghetti
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 toes Garlic
  • 6 Anchovy fillets
  • 2 Tl Capers
  • 10 Black olives
  • 1 Can Mashed tomatoes
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • Chilli (cayenne pepper)
  • Freshly grated Parmesan
  1. For the sauce, fry the onions in a little olive oil, chop the anchovies and the capers and olives.
  2. When the onions are translucent, add the garlic and tomatoes, then the anchovies, capers and olives, season everything with chilli and a little sugar and cook gently for about 20 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, cook the spaghetti aldente and sprinkle with Parmesan
