American recipe for super delicious cookies

Preheat the oven to 175°C. Cream the butter with the sugars until creamy, then stir in the vanilla extract and eggs. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder and stir into the butter mixture. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop the dough by tablespoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 175°C for 10-12 minutes, or up to 15 minutes for extra crispy cookies. Let rest on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. They taste absolutely fantastic warm—but they’re also delicious cold. Makes about 75 cookies, not too small.
