Plum and apple jam

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 650 g plum(s), prepared and weighed
  • 350 g apples, prepared and weighed
  • 500 g gelling sugar, 2:1
  • 3 drops of bitter almond flavor

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the plums, drain, remove the stems, stones, and finely chop. Peel, quarter, core, and finely chop the apples. Place the fruit in a saucepan, add the gelling sugar, and mix well. Bring to a boil over high heat while stirring. Boil gently for at least 3 minutes, stirring continuously. Remove from the heat, stir in 3 drops of bitter almond flavoring, pour into twist-off jars, seal, turn upside down, and let stand with the lid on for about 5 minutes.
