Soaked Lemon Muffins

The perfect soaked lemon muffins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 Gr Butter
  • 250 Gr Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 Tl Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 Untreated lemon juice and the finely grated zest
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease the muffin bowl and keep the flour in a cool place.
  2. Beat the butter at room temperature with the sugar until frothy, stir in one egg at a time, continue until the mixture is light for about 5 minutes.
  3. Mix the flour, the baking powder, the price salt and the lemon zest and quickly stir in the butter mixture under the eggs and pour into the muffin tray. Bake for about 25 minutes. Mix the 100 g powdered sugar with the lemon juice.
  4. Let the tray rest for 2-3 minutes, prick the mouflons with a wooden stick and drizzle the lemon juice over them.
