Warm Sicilian Chocolate Cake

  • 250 g Dark chocolate
  • 250 g Butter
  • 5 piece Eggs
  • 5 piece Egg yolk
  • 300 g Sugar
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Cocoa powder
  1. Melt the chocolate together with the butter over a water bath, then leave to cool for 10 minutes.
  2. Beat the eggs, egg yolks and sugar until light yellow and then add to the chocolate and butter mixture. Finally stir in the flour.
  3. Fill the mixture into two greased molds with a diameter of 7.5 cm each sprinkled with cocoa powder and bake in a preheated oven at 160 ° C for about 12 to 15 minutes.
  4. The cake will arch up slightly when it’s done.
